What happens when you call

You dial (215) 714-6692 and a dispatcher answers at any hour. The dispatcher asks where the water is, what you hear or smell and which fixtures are affected, then tells you what to do in the next few minutes. Shutting off the main water valve, cutting power to a water heater and moving belongings away from the wet area are the usual first steps.

Then we line up a visit from a licensed plumber. Same-day appointments are available when the schedule allows, and calls with water still running are sorted first. We do not promise a clock time we cannot control, because traffic, storms and a busy night all change it. Dispatch gives you the real window on the phone.

What we handle

The list runs from the common to the serious. Clogs and slow drains go to drain cleaning and hydro jetting. Main-line backups and failed pipes go to sewer line cleaning and sewer line repair, usually after a sewer camera inspection shows what is wrong.

Water problems range from a hidden leak to a split pipe. See leak detection and burst pipe repair. Hot water has its own pages for repair, replacement and tankless units. The full list is on our services page.

How we handle price

Pipes behind walls and under yards vary too much for a flat menu. The plumber looks at the problem, explains the repair and gives you a clear price before work starts. If the number does not work for you, you say no at that point and nothing is owed for the repair you declined.

Access, pipe material, depth, parts and time of day all move the price. Each service page lists the factors that matter for that job, without dollar figures we cannot back up.

Licensing, permits and how to check a contractor

We dispatch licensed plumbers. Pennsylvania has no statewide plumber license for most construction work, so the useful check is different. Contractors doing home improvement work of $5,000 or more a year must register with the Pennsylvania Attorney General, and you can look any contractor up at hicsearch.attorneygeneral.gov or by calling 1-888-520-6680.

Horsham Township requires a permit for plumbing fixtures, including water heaters. Code Enforcement is at 1025 Horsham Road and answers at (215) 643-3131 on weekdays from 8:30 to 4:30. Ask the plumber who files the permit before the job starts, and book the inspection early because the township asks for 24 to 48 hours notice.

What we leave to other trades

Honest limits

  • We do not diagnose or repair electrical faults. A dead disposal or heater element may need an electrician as well.
  • We do not remove asbestos or test for it. If a repair opens a wall with suspect material, work stops until a specialist clears it.
  • Water damage cleanup, drying and mold work belong to restoration companies. We can stop the water and document the cause.
  • We say so on the phone when a job is outside plumbing, instead of sending a truck that cannot fix it.
